LANDSLIDE MONITORING USING CLOSE RANGE PHOTOGRAMMETRY

This paper presents the preliminary results of a simulation study on production low cost Digital Elevation Model (DEM) for landslide area in Seri Iskandar, Perak. The important objective this is to present potentiality Close Range Photogrammetry (CRP) as data acquisition tool producing by using from surface measurement. method was applied stereopair photographs captured ground level detection, or known close range photogrammetry with use digital camera mounted tripod collection. applications useful mapping areas that are difficult and risky point manpower terrain consist steep dangerous slopes. Conventional methods require measurement Electronic Distance Measuring (EDM), but very costly requires survey team placed land site area. research were carried out two different epoch data. outcome proves CRP can produce DEM less compared other methods.
